From Streamform to Arts and Crafts

Starting at the Modernist East Finchley station, this linear walk travels back in time looking at inter-war architectural styles on the North side of Hampstead Garden Suburb finishing with arts and crafts cottages. As well as looking at the architecture we discuss some of the people that the street names commemorate, many of whom relate to the Christian Socialist co-partnership and the early Garden City Movement. The walk largely follows the northen boundary of Hampstead Garden Suburb.
