Reclaiming the High Street

Millennial gentrification or a public space for all - who is the future High Street for?

As part of last year’s LFA, we hosted a discussion panel that explored creative responses to the decline of the high street. Since then, the government has recognised the need for regeneration with the launch of the Future High Street Fund and local authorities all over the country are struggling with the problem of desertion of the town centre.

For this year’s event, as well as celebrating our 10 year anniversary, we would like to invite the public to join us alongside guests from both public and business sector, academics and practitioners, in an open discussion that explores the boundaries and obstacles to the revitalisation of the High Street and put forward some ways in which these boundaries can be broken down.

This is a free event, however it is ticketed through Eventbrite.
