How do we design our buildings, products and foodchain to circular economy principles?
Join Maria Smith, founding director of Interrobang and former director of award-winning art and architecture practice Studio Weave, Robert Nicoll, CPO and co-founder of Chip[s] Board, a pioneering start-up company developing a range of innovative materials using potato waste, and Charlotte Whiting, Head of Sustainability at Mercato Metropolitano, the rising force behind London’s newest community food markets.
Chaired by Steve Webb, one of the founding directors of Webb Yates Engineers, the trio will discuss material innovation, the circular economy and the links between the food and construction industries.
Brought together by their desire to work towards a more sustainable future the talks will welcome an open conversation about long term durability, adaptability, disassembly and reusability.
The event will be accompanied by green nibbles and eco beers.
