Welcome to The Redivider: Opening Event

You are invited to the launch of The Redivider, an immersive and interactive pavilion created for the London Festival of Architecture.

In an exciting collaboration, Stride Treglown have joined up with BAM, Huxlo, Marazzi UK, Robert Bird Group, Rothoblaas and Taylor Maxwell to create the Redivider in the London Bridge Hub, critiquing the social boundaries cultivated by our digital world.

Try to carve a path across the Redivider, sliding walls before you, without interrupting your neighbour as they attempt to do the same. As you do, pass through the range of emotions felt as you may within the world of social media; immersion, isolation and reflection.

Acting as a metaphor for the world of social media, the Redivider queries the ideals of these digital networks designed to harbour social interaction. Each clash of the panels as participants create their routes through represents both positive and negative digital interactions.

Drop in from 5pm to experience the Redivider - refreshments will be available.
