Secret Southwark Stroll

While you may be familiar with Bankside, it's unlikely you have discovered the secret streetscapes east of London Bridge Station. Pick up a trail guide for a self-guided art and architecture tour from Newground Architects, two minutes’ walk away, all through the month of June, and you’re in for a treat. You'll explore a rich variety of buildings from distinctive homes, historic as well as new buildings, hidden gardens and courtyards to shop windows, churches and gallery spaces, all within 15 minutes’ walk from our office.

From the station, make your way to 48-50 Weston Street and pick up a map listing the venues and some information about them. We are open every week day from 09:30 to 18:30.

And bring the kids - there's a special children's trail. Have them find five St George and the Dragon cards hidden at five of the venues, return them to Newground, and they will receive a small prize.
