Pushing the Boundaries: Modular Build

In line with the theme of ‘boundaries’ Fuse Architects, Symmetry Engineers, Caledonian, Cast, Engie and Ilke Homes are hosting an evening of talks and debate focused around the increasing popularity of modular build in the construction industry. Bringing in an architectural, engineering and modular contractor perspective, the evening will consist of three speakers, presentations and networking. We will interrogate how modular is breaking down the boundaries between new and traditional building techniques.

In 2018 modular was certainly the buzz word in construction and we want to examine what has made this such a popular and successful building method and see what the future holds. Fuse Architects have since undertaken a variety of schemes utilising modular construction including residential and student accommodation projects in and around London and the south east.
