Open Studio afternoon for young people

Young people aged 15-19 interested in finding out more about becoming an architect are invited to visit AHMM. There will be an opportunity to meet an architect, visit our modelshop, draw with members of our Sketch Club, tour our offices, try SketchUp software, and hear a short lecture about sustainability. There will also be a collaborative task exploring the Festival’s theme of Boundaries. Using masking tape to draw on our office floor, young people will be invited to explore and analyse two very differing building plans – one historic and one modern AHMM building – and identify overlapping physical and intangible thresholds.
