tp bennett will be opening their studio doors on Friday 28th June as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2019, inviting the public to explore this year’s theme of ‘Boundaries’ by hosting an interactive spectator-led installation, 'home sweet home'.

In partnership with artists Abigail Conway & Lucy Hayhoe of ‘Subject to_change’, we will create a miniature flat packed cardboard town. Guests will be invited to ‘purchase’ their own plot of land and home, decorate it and contribute to the building of a new community.

This miniature town will become an interactive experience as neighbours start to talk to one another and make plans for the community. A local radio station will be broadcasting live, a postal service will be delivering mail across town and local tp bennett councillors will be on hand to discuss community matters.

The tp bennett pub will be open for the evening to keep the community and guests refreshed while they discuss and debate their new town!
