Brunel Street Works: Planes, trains and automobiles…

As London intensifies, the challenges of designing around transport and infrastructure are ever more acute. The architects and developer behind Brunel Street Works in Canning Town, discuss how everyday needs can affect design and how they overcame the challenges of building directly next to London City Airport and the London docks.

A tour of the site, which will include a once in a lifetime opportunity to go inside the development and listen to discussions on the relationship of its historical context with 21st century challenges, makes this event an inspiring afternoon.

Join us on this tour (with refreshments) and see how traditional boundaries help inform the capital’s sky line and make London the ever-evolving city it is today. Learn how Brunel Street Works has been designed with echoes of the past and spaces for the future.
